Did Colt offer any pre-ban model with a raised fence but without a sear block? I saw one advertised on Gunbroker, but it was gone in short order. Was it legit?

I have a Govt Carbine with the raised mag fence and no sear block,Green label.
The fence was not drilled for the detent though.

Please excuse my ignorance. I understand the fence to be an extrusion on the receiver. What would need to be drilled, and why?

Did Colt produce any pre-ban rifles with the detent drilling completed? If so, on any models other than the 6520? Thanks for your help on this one.

Yes and as usual with Colt it is hit or miss.
    No rhyme or reason.
    6520 and 6530 were mixed.
    My 6520 is not drilled.
I have a Govt Rifle that is drilled but came with the small screw takedown.
