I previously mentioned that I had a rifle that I could not indentify and you guys wanted more info so here it goes. Receiver reads Made by Imbel-Brazil Hesse- St.Paul Mn.-FALH. The caliber is .308 and the gun is semi auto. There is a pistol grip and a synthetic stock. I beleive it is from the FAL-H/FALO series by Hesse Arms. I am curious as to its market value is in used condition. I have never seen one of these before. The serial # is only 4 digits. Can anyone help now ?

It's a FN/FAL built by Hesse from parts on an Imbel receiver. I tried their website, but it's not listed. I believe they have 3 or 4 models; Standard, Congo, Tactical are 3 that I know of. Yours is a Standard, if it's black. Here's a link that might work for some pictures. www.fnfal.com/falfiles/pic.html Value? Freedom Arms had some new a couple of years back for $549.

Happy to help. You might want to test fire it for accuracy as some of the Hesse products have a history of crooked barrels.
