Winchester 52

I receintly looked at a win 52 I would like to purchase. The problem is the bolt won't come out. A friend said it just needs a good cleaning, that they all do that. could someone shed some light on this?

    Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of the value of a Winchester model 52 Bull barrel with a serial number of 10xxx? It has Vavier sights and about 80% blue. It has the speedlock trigger also.

    A friend is thinking about buying a model 52 sn.226xx as a shooter: it has 3 extra holes drilled in it , the stock has been altered and has a 69 marked mag...it still has peep sight mounted and has a lyman 438 field scope....the blue is 75% or so....about what is this gun worth as is? Will any 52[A B ect] stock fit and what does a decent one usualy sell for?........thanks

    I've seen people refer to thier model 52's as B or C or D
    My rifle is only marked model 52. How do you determine the letter model?

    800 to 3000.00 serious. every screw nick ding dent option will effect its value. very collectible gun. wait......'only winchesters' will chime in soon and set you straight. in the meantime give us all you know about the gun. stock, bbl markings, bolt type, sling scope mounts.......just straighten it all out, then we will help.
