Anyone know anything about a Union semi-auto handgun? Place of mfg, dates of mfg, quality of gun, etc. A friend owns one and knows little about it (me either).

It's hard to believe, but there were pistols made with the name Union, in (3) different countries. Spain, France and the U S.

The Spanish and French Unions were knock-offs of the Belgian made 1906 Browning, .25 automatic. Even If in original, excellent condition, they would have no great value.

The American made Union is a horse of a different color. They are very rare and desirable to a collector. Only made for a short period of time between 1903 & 1913?, by the Union Arms Co. of Toledo Ohio. Chambered for the .32 S & W, ( .38 S& W? ) rimmed revolver cartridges, Supposedly operated by a combination of gas and recoil. Would be worth some bucks if in decent condition.
