I recently purchased a turkey choke from gun broker and did not realize that it was for hevi shot. Can i still use regular old lead with this choke and if so will the pattern be as tight?
Thanks

I can answer part of your question. Yes, you can use lead shells with this choke. I was just reading this today. Can't help you on the pattern issue.

NO, I'M NOT EXPRESSING ANGER! I TYPE WITH CAPS BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE THE USE OF ONE HAND!

from what I have read the hevi shot tube should be more open than one for lead shot , so your pattern maybe larger than what you want , the only way to find out for sure is to shoot it
