I want to put my antique S&W on the auction side but can't I.D. it even from Fjestad. It's features are:
7 shot top break revolver
22cal
3.187" round barrel
fluted cylinder
s/n 31454
I don't want to misrepresent it. Can anyone help?

Thanks guys,

It appears to be the 3rd Issue, of the S & W No.1 Model.

Problem is that this model has S & W name, address and patent dates on top of barrel.

Yours has either been refinished so that the barrel markings aren't visible. Or it's a knock-off made made by another company. Even if it's a original S & W? They were made in such quantity, (130,000+), they aren't big buck collectors items.

    Thanks r-s,
Barrel marks are: S&W Springfield, Mass. Pat April 3.55 July 5.59 Dec 1850. I'm not trying to get rich off of this but just want a reasonable price.
