Hello everyone. Can someone please help me identify this Spencer rifle? It appears to have a low serial number of 763 stamped on it. I believe it has an 18" barrel. Thank you all in advance.

It looks to me like an 1865 Spencer carbine (barrel should really be 20", muzzle to breech face) as made under contract by Burnside Rifle Co. About 34,000 made in 1865-1866 to supplement the 23,000 made by Spencer at that time and the many 1860 models already in service. Your low serial number was surely made in 1865.
I can't tell whether it was used in the Civil War, if so, only near the very end.
