From what I read online, Wyoming Arms used to produce a pistol called the Parker. They went out of business(1992), LASER-AIM bought the rights the pistol and re-introduced it. I didn't find much on them, I read they are usually missing the ejector, apparently it is easy to lose when you break the gun down. I'm sorry I can't be much help, Cabelas has one for sale in one of the gun library s'.

hopefully you didn't get too much into it. they should have stamped jam-o-matic on it! because that's what they do all day long! they are the same as Wyoming arms. junk!

take it out and try it, maybe you got one that runs? if not, dump it at the next show, you will be money ahead.

First build in Thermopolis, WY. Didn't have a very good reliability record and went out of production. I had heard that the rights were purchased and production planned/restarted in Arkansas.

Those are much better than a Wyoming Arms pistol==Had several actually and they "actually" shot well with hard nose,,,The Wyomings didn't function at all-and I didn't know they had ties together,,but the Laser is a much better product,,imo-

thanks g.h., I've shot it a bit now and is hasn't missed a 'beat'. now to work on the 8# trigger
"Hey, Mike,,,,,is that a true(functioning) 'grip' safety ??? If so, I guess it's nonfunctional with the wraparound grip,,,,scary !!!!"............no grip safty at all, just the one on the slide. it does take 1911 magazines so that is a plus.
