I have detachable , side levers, slide on , with small diameter scope. Would like to add a 1in
Ring scope to my 98 base. Are all g&h mounts same? What do I look for?

Best I can tell, you could change out the rings, but if you want a complete top half, bracket and rings, "some adjustment and fitting to existing base will be required."

G&H still make them, ask them what it takes.

If your base is for the double lever you should have little trouble locating a 1" mount.

Most of the smaller diameter mounts have windage built into them and hard to find larger rings that will fit.

A picture of what you have might help.

Getting 1" rings should be easy and a simple matter of swapping out. Regarding the upper bracket, they are to a certain extent adjustable. I have an NRA Sporter that Grandad (for better or worse) had G & H do work on about 1935 and over the years I've had to tweak the tightening tabs a bit. Always drives me up the wall because it's so infrequent I forget how the heck to do it.

If your mount is older you may want to find older rings so the appearance matches best.
