I bought one of these 15 years ago for $200. It was manufactured by Hofdasa ( Argentina Armory I believe) and has "Gendarmeria Nacional" stamped on it. Ser#E006__. Never been fired and in excellent condition. Any value in this? Much appreciated.

There descent guns. I had a couple years back. Like everything else surplus wise, they have pretty much dried up. As far as availability is concerned. You might check the completed auctions, to see if you can come up with a ballpark value.

I kind of doubt being a ex Argentine police gun, that it's unfired. As I recall they date from the 40's, likely it's been through an arsenal at least once for repair and restoration.

You can't go wrong at that price you paid I would say worth twice that unfired But Would have to see some close up in focus well lit pictures to say for sure.

Never been fired, or never been fired by you? There's a lot of difference!

Never fired by me. Inside of barrel really clean and sharp. Like Rufe suggested probably reworked by an arsenal along he way. Thanks for the replays.

Sarco has been selling a bunch of Molinas recently as well as a lot of Argentine made 1911s in various degrees of substantial wear. In fact some of them have only Colt markings.
