Is there some kind of reference work whereby a gunsmith can find a list of gunparts thsat can be modified to work from one weapon to another?

I have a mossberg 20 ga. model 185k
efforts to find a bolt and mag have been futile
at one time i did however post in the WTB section for these pasrts and was given a link to a site that specializes in mossbergs but alas
lost that link before i could visit the web site
this shot gun must have had a small run
i do know it's of extremely little value even if restored--i just hate to see a gun not have all its parts LOL thanks again----Larry
