The Verano Corp. imported an economy priced line of scopes from Japan between 1978 and 1981. A 3-9x (not wide angle will go for $40-$60 depending upon condition and how much someone wants it. Can't help with the Cheynne, but wonder if that is a model name rather than a manufacturer.

This Verano is a wide angle 3X9X40.Thanks for the info. The Cheyenne name is on the side of the scope and looks alot like the way Redfield writing looks.

You can up the value of the wide angle by $5.

I cannot find that Redfield sold a scope called the Cheynne under the Redfield name prior to 1985. I may have been later, or it may have been built by Redfield and sold by someone else (like Sears, for example)under the Cheyenne name. It may have been built by someone else altogether. Sorry I cannot help on this one.
