I visited Briley here in Houston and like the looks of their handguns. Built on 1911 frames in various models - I'm considering buying one in .45. I'd like to hear from anyone who has one or has any experience with them.

Thanks, KG

I personally think theres many other brands to choose from, you may find something you like better, shop around. Check out springfield armory, kimber, colt, para-ordnance, sti, strayer-voigt, dan wesson, etc. There are alot of new 1911 type guns out by all kinds of people, and alot of them introduced new models last year. Check them out.

I've never owned one, but have read a number of articles on these in various magazines....look like a very nice unit. Wouldn't mind owning one.
