If you have 30 rd mags with the black followers that have feeding troubles then try the greens. If they work(99% do) then ignore the greens.20s don't need them and they don't fit without work.cpermd

Worth of the mags or the followers. Followers about 1.00 to 1.25, mags depending on condition go from about 10 dollars to 30 dollars depending on maker and condition, some will go higher if they are a rare variety.

I can't say which is best but I have Adventure Line and OKay mags with black followers and have never had a problem in both my ARs.The 'Kay (?)' than you mentioned, might they be OKay brand?

I have about a dozen green followers sitting around collecting dust. Nobody I talk to wants them (and I'm offering them for free) so how much of a difference can they make?

I got plenty of black and only 2 green. Guess I will go 2 green and 1 black when they go. Sounds like auction time.

I put green followers in my 30's and they sit on the shelf just as well as the black followers did.......

Let me ask this. Is it worth it to disassemble an AR mag just to put a different follower in it? Unless I'm missing something here, I think AR mags are the worst design for taking apart. I don't want to have to bend the tabs that secure the floor plate anymore than necessary. Which to me, is not at all. Just my $.02

They are a pain in the * to take apart; I won't disagree with that.

One thing that I have noticed of the green followers vs the black ones is that the greeens seem to have a "teflon" feel to them. They seem quite slippery. I would think that would help with the friction against the mag wall too....
