The best weapon I ever owned, was a Weatherby MK V .300mag! NOT because it was pretty look'n (but it was), but I could shoot that thing pert-near all day long and cover the grouping with a quarter! I got rid if it when I left Alaska ...think'n I wouldn't need that big cal. again. ...WRONG!!! *L* ...Mark(11echo)

The best I ever owned was a Remmington 700 BDL in 30.06. .753 5 shot groups at 100 yards, ate everything I could feed it, and never left me wanting. Gave it to my father when his was stolen. My brother took it after he died, then immediatly sold it. I offered the guy twice what he paid my brother for it, but it was too late. He had already shot the gun and knew what he had. I've had three since, and not another one comes close.

I reckon I would have to go with my colt ar-15 h-b match target.
22 inch heavy barrel 1-7 twist flat top with a red dot.
    nothing can hide from it.
can engage 18 in steel plates at 300 yds.....rapid fire!!
    I LOVE IT !!

I've fired hundreds of weapons through the years, and a favorite is a hard choice. I'd have to say that my P-85 Ruger is the best pistol I've ever owned. 15 shots, no jams and X rings ! (sometimes!)

I would have to say that it is my Winchester Model 94AE in .356 calibre. I've had lots of good times in the woods with this rifle and brought home several deer as well. Oh yes, lots of good times with the kids hunting as well and even the dear wife once!

I have been blessed with many fine weapons in my life but the best has to go to my Colt series 70 .45. 21 years without a jam. Thats right 21 years. I carried it the most on my security details and other than a trigger replacement is 100% factory. I can't imagine anyone asking for more than that from a sidearm.
