Looking for value of a triangle blade bayonet with the following proofmarks. Looks like a tree over "WD" over a crown. Under this is a number 57 and under the 57 is a "L" (which looks like the British Pound symbol). Under the "L" is "/89 and under this is the number 116. Blade length is 21 inches and the part that fits over a round barrel is 4 inches long. When was it made and what is the value? Thanks in advance. Kelly

This'll have to do untill someone sharper, that might know significance of the numbers possibly, comes along,....but, the "WD" is British, for War Dept. and the "tree" you mention is actually a "broad arrow" marking.
The thing is most likely for a Martini, weather it be for the earlier 577/450's, or for the converted and rebarreled 303"s can be better determined by the barrel fitting section diameter.
The big 577/450's took both blade and triangle jobs. I'll hang way out there and say that I think the 303's never took blades, EXCEPT, the shorter Metford model bay. (Not looooong blades, like the big one)
