Muzzleloader ?: Accuracy Effect of Dif. Caps

So is the musket cap or #11 considered to be the better cap for accuracy and/or dependability? I have both style nipples for my Knight Wolverine and am trying to decide which way to go. Is there a 'conventional wisdom' on this topic?

I would recommend the Musket Cap given the choices. You can get a 209 conversion as well as thumhole stocks from Knight. I did the upgrade last year to mine and love it.

Yes, I was thinking about the 209 conversion, but haven't seen it cheap enough yet. Did the switch to the 209 caps effect point of aim?

You should actually take it to the range, using a varity of different brand powders, primer types, and bullets, see what shoots the best for you. Also if anyone could loan you a chronograph, take it, they help alot.
