Mini 30 Value

I have an SKS now and I'm interested in a Mini 30. I'd like to hear any opinions on the Mini 30, SS? Blue? Accuracy? What would be a good price etc.

    I recently went through this process. I wanted a Ruger product because I have had good luck with everything I ever purchased with their name on it. There is a world of cheap 7.62 x 39 ammo available and I like to shoot. I also wanted some high cap mags just for fun. The factory high cap mags for the mini 30 are hard to find and after market mags for the mini 30 have a bad reputation. As an alternative, I ordered a NIB Romanian AK-47 clone after doing a little looking around. The barrels are chrome lined, good mags available at reasonable prices and the out-the-door price of $385.00 won't break the bank. Probably not the quality of gun the mini 30 is but if it lasts 25000 to 30000 rounds It is OK with me. I'm told not a great deal of difference in accuracy if the AK's front sight isn't canted. Beware there are several varieties of Romanian AK's. Thought you may want to check out an alternative. LOL

    Mini 30's are fun. Get a pre ban with folding stock.

    Got one used otd, preban, some magazines and scope, about 85% for $350. Consider that fair market.
