Can anyone give me some info on a Arminius 38 special revolver. I cannot find anything about it. My book notes that it was previously manufactured in Zella-Mehlis Germany from 1922-1970. This one has a ribbed barrel.

I inherited an old American Bulldog pistol. I'm told it belonged to my wife's great grandfather. It's stainless or nickle with a 2" octagonal barrel. I'm not absolutely sure of the caliber. It's in decent shape considering its been sitting in a dresser drawer for the past fifty years or more. Anyone have any idea what this thing might be worth or where I can get more info on it?

From the Standard Catalog of Firearms:
American Bulldog Trade name used by the Iver Johnson
Arms and Cylce Works. Inexpesive pocket revolvers.
Value in the $100 to $150 range, depends on condition.

Dr. Pig, the date of introduction of the M60 is well known to me as I was prepared to kill to get one. It was 1965. My early M60 high polish with bright trigger and hammer is one of my favorites, both because I love stainless and because it was so hard to get.
