I HAVE A KNIFE THAT BELONGED TOO MY DAD WHEN HE WAS IN THE NAVY IN WW11.ON THE KNIFE ITS MARKED CAMILIUS NY USN MK2.ITS IN A METAL SHEATH WHICH IS MARKED USN MK2 ALSO.NOT LOOKING TOO SELL IT ,JUST WONDERING ITS VALUE AND A LITTLE HISTORY .THANKS IN ADVANCE DON

    These knives were made by KA-BAR-Robeson-PAL-and Camillus.The Camillus being one of the more common ones.They were marked with makers name on the blade or the guard.The Camillus blade marked in exc. unsharpened cond. valued at 200-250 The guard marked valued at 175-225.This value is for USN marked knives.This info. is from Coles Book 111 US Military Knives.The gray plastic sheath,marked USN MK2 is valued at 50-75

    THANKS OLD SINGLE SHOTS !! THIS ONE IS MARKED ON THE GUARD AND IT HAS BEEN SHARPENED MY DAD CARRIED IT FOR YEARS DEAR HUNTING.IS THE SHEATH PLASTIC ?IT SURE LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE METAL TOO ME.IT IS MARKED USN MK2 ON IT .WHAT ARE THEY WORTH IN USED BUT NOT ABUSED (LOL) COND?

    The sheath does look and feel like metal,but is actually a plastic type material.The value of the knife in exc,but sharpened,would be 80% of listed value.In very good cond. would be 60 % The earliest knives had leather sheaths.Due to the possibility of the blade cutting through the sheath and causing injury,They were replaced with the plastic type.
