CALIBER IS WORTH THE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT . I KNOW WHAT
THE BOOK SAYS BUT IM TALKING ABOUT THE MARKET FOR THIS GUN

I have been looking at them here on the GB auction and i have seen them go in excelent condition anywhere from 500-800$ depends on weather it is pre-64 or not. Boy I would love to get my hands on an 88 or a 100 in 284.

88 in .308 in south louisiana would bring apx 550-650...

I stand corrected but I have seen them on Gunbroker advertised as pre-64. I guess it is just a selling point.
