I need info on removing the carry handle ? There is one Allen screw that is accessible from the top but I cannot see/find another ?

I'm probably getting on everybody's nerves by now but I have another question. I want an all purpose rifle and I've narrowed it down to a Mini 14 Ranch Rifle and the Bushmaster Bullpup. I know all I need to know about the mini, and I want to learn more about the bushmaster. Also I would like a list of dealers in Texas. Thanks.

I've had a couple of the M17S Bushmaster's, it uses AR-15 mags which are cheap and plentiful they are accurate, reliable, compact and well balanced. On the down side, it has a heavy trigger pull around 12 pounds, the sights are worthless so you need a red dot or scope, also its a kinda heavy, around 10 pounds with optic's and a full mag; a shortie AR is much more practical and lighter.

My brother-in-law has one of these and I have to agree with KimberKid. The sights are definately worthless. They're neat, but if you shoot at an indoor range, prepare to have your eyes burn after a couple of rounds. This is due to the fact that the ejection port is right by your face. They're fun to rap off a bunch of shots quickly, though.

had one, put a decent scope on it, shot great out to about 300 yards...factory sights are as stated, worthless...trigger can be cleaned up a bit, altho it will still be somewhat heavy. very reliable, durable, accurate. only sold mine cause someone stood there with $1000 and waaved it at me...wouldnt mind getting another

I think bushmaster also made the bushmaster pistol, which was a bull-pup configuration. Was like a very small submachinegun looking thing. Very unique.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
