Just acquired a Sig AMT, 98% overall condition with all matching numbers (202XX). Imported by Devco, Houston, TX. Original foan shipping box, manual, sling, bipod, upper hand guard, (3) 20 round factory mags. Cleaning kit in grip. Also has S.P.S. (Sig Parts Service) muzzle brake, grenade ring, barrel shroud and scope mount..all made by Estes Adams. Got some pics...WHAT'S IT WORTH?

Jim, sorry....but I am very familiar with this piece and it`s market. You will find one listed on the auction side, here too. It has been listed for over four months....at 4250.00 and maybe it will sell. PT always said, some could be parted from their money. I deal in preban rifles and have for many years. You asked what it`s worth, just because you do not like my answer.....does not mean, I do not know the weapon. I know it very well and the market for it. Maybe you should have done better research before you aquired it. I am always amazed, when people buy something, then come here to see if they got a good deal......that is putting the carriage before the horse. Though they are (SIG AMT) quality rifles, they are also a "niche" gun, this hurts the market value....unlike some of the other rifles in this class. The book (values) and the real market are two different things and when you narrow the market, it does not mean it cost more, especially for a "niche" gun. Below are current sales, with two Sigs included and it includes the one I showed above. This is current sales in preban (RETAIL SALES) rifles. Maybe you should do your homework better. There is a difference between a "book" evaluator and a user,,, this piece will perform in combat situations rivaling an M-16...I've been there and the people that know and have been there also value this piece more than the "book".
