Browning A-5; 12 ga. mag.-:Yr. of Mfg.-help?

My sister's hubbie looking at a browning A-5 (belgian made). Dlr let him write down describe and most of ser#. Need year of manufacture most of all.. #3V over 476xx, 12 ga mg., 95%, vent rib. Thats all he got. BTW, the price is $475.00.......Good?...so-so.....'er bad price.

    According to the serialization section in the Blue Book, it was manufactured in 1963.. the A-5 in 12 gauge mg, manufactured from 1958 to 1976 by FN ... 1976 to 1998 Miroku...
    60% is 350.00
    90% is 450
    100% is 725.. so yep it's a good price if condition is good..

    Thank you, BlackRoses; last eve., we went over to the store and looked at it. If the dealer had said 'there is a box for it'(there wasn't)- I would have believed it. It is that nice. 2-3 small handling marks and that was all. 98-99%. Bro-in-law bought it. LUCKY!
