I was wondering if anyone out there knows what kind of accuracy i could acheive using the basic remington 700 bdl rifle in .270 winchester or the winchester mod 70 black shadow in the same caliber?? im looking for a very acccuracte but inexpensive rifle in this caliber, and i want to achieve MOA groups. will either of these do or are there any that will? i just dont know enough about these particular rifles and im eondering if anyone owns or has shot either, thanks

I think everyone is different but I would expect at least one inch groups.

EITHER RIFLE YOU MENTIONED WILL POTETIALY SHOOT 1" GROUPS OR BETTER BUT EACH RIFLE IS AN INDIVIDUAL, TO MANY VARIABLES (BARREL, STOCK, BEDDING, TRIGER, SHOOTER, ECT.). MOST FACTORY RIFLES WILL NEED A LITTLE ADJUSTING TO REACH THIER BEST ACCURACYM (PRICISION).

My stock Remington 700 BDL .270 shoots five shot 1 inch groups, and I have a target pinned to the wall in my reloading room thats 3 shots in 7/16 inch. Not bad for a standard weight rifle.

I SHOOT BOTH GUNS AND THEY BOTH WILL SHOOT BETTER THAN I CAN, YOU WILL NOT DO WRONG WITH EITHER. GOOD LUCK.

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.
