Does anyone know anything about the Hesse M-47 .308 rifles?? I saw them for sale on a site www.joeken.com and had never seen them before, they are semi auto derivatives of the kalashnikov it seems and in the .308 chambering would be a heck of a rifle. my main question is are they acurate and realiable? any help is appreciated.

I haven't seen them; they are so elusive that I'm not convinced that they even exist.

However, I have heard complaints about the quality of the Hesse AR clone, so I would need a lot of convincing to make me a guinea pig for a new type of rifle from them.

If you really want a "heck of a rifle" in .308, look at the M14 clones; after 40 years, that design has been proven.

You get what you pay for, sometimes less.

I have only heard bad stuff about them, but the only one I've actually seen (An AR National Match) shot like a wet dream...

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
