I have some 9mm Eagle (I.M.I.) Black tip, FMJ, carbine only, Match Grade ammo. What is this stuff? I do not have a 9mm carbine. What should it be listed as or for?

If I move it into a room where temperature may reach below 32, am I causing a problem?
This will be winter only and maybe 15 to 20 days max.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

belief that shipping any kind of ammo, powder, or explosives
of any kind, requires (haz mat) Hazardous Materials label and charges.
Every time I buy anything like that, I have to pay haz mat.

eric - if you are being charged haz mat for shipments of assembled ammunition, you are being ripped off and need to change suppliers! Ammo is classed as ORM-D (Other Regulated Material - class D) and does not require any special handling beyond being labeled as such. All kinds of products fall into this classification and are shipped routinely throughout the country. For example, body putty for auto repair shops. This is not to say that local shippers, for whatever reason, give sellers a hard time about shipping ammo (and, boy, do I have the scars to prove it!), but it sure as shugar ain't hazmat.
Best!!!
