just bought a new abolt composit stalker in stainless steel. It has a noise like sand in the stock when you move it around. I think it may be glass beading from when they blasted the stock. I hope that it is not an indication of the quality of the gun. before i open the stock to empty the beading I want to get your thoughts on how i should handle it. Havent shot the gun yet. Thanks for the help

Take out the two screws, remove the barrel and action, and see what's up. They can't tell you took it apart.

A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.
