need a savage expert, savage 24-s in 22lr over 20 gauge ,it has the button in front of trigger guard too break it open instead of the lever behind the receiver,in 90% cond.how old is this gun and whats it worth? thanks in advance ,keep on bangin boys !! don

    Don,
    They were made between 1965 to 1971 according to my book. I am going to guess that it's worth around $250.00 to 300.00, depending on condition. They are a fairly desirable gun.
    A new one wholesales for about $360.00.
