I aquired a western rig made by Lawrence Leather, Portland OR.

I can't locate any info on this company. I want to reference the holster number to the handgun.

Model # is 79 603. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

    Mark,

I think Lawrence Leather went out of business several
years ago. Maybe 10 years or more. They did make excellent quality
leather goods though. You may find someone with an old catalog
with your rig listed. Also, if you can find someone with a
Herter's catalog from about 20-30 years ago, it should be listed
    in it.

Don't send flowers when I die. Send money now, I can buy more ammo.

The 1970 Shooters Bible has a listing of Lawrence holsters. Look on page 486. The 603 is for a Ruger 357 61/2 in. There are no number before the 603 however so it may be different than what you have.

I believe that Lawrence was acquired by Hunter, but they pretty much discontinued the Lawrence product line. They could probably tell you which handgun your holster fits.
