I can't beleive that no one has replied to my post on handloads for the 260 Remington! I have AlleninAlaskas loads as he sent them with the gun but I figured somebody out there has messed with this caliber some! Maybe it's already dead and nobody knows it! I tried 40 grains of Varget behind 100Nosler BT and it shot under 1" but I just was curios as to anything else someone likes. I guess I'm behind the times as all my loading manuals are (with the exception of the Hodgedon) are pre-260 vintage!! All replies would be appreciated even if they're Sat. night sarcastic comments! i reloaded couple boxes worth for my brother i'l have to look around and see i have what powder i used and bullets what i did reload for him shot 1" moa three shot group(off the hood of my pickup) in a remington rifle other than that that is the only time i have reloaded for it
it is a very good cartridge better for deer than the .243 imho
    doc
i found it.....43 gr imr 4831 with win lr primer underneath a speer 140 gr spitzer sp worked good for deer i think if a guy played around with this cartridge a guy will come up with an very accurate load

I dont give my guns without somebody getting hurt!
