We'd like to help you, Amigo--but your post is too vague. (1) Are you wanting to buy a bolt or sell a bolt? (2) What model shotgun? Some were made by Savage-Stevens and some by Marlin, all sold under the Sears house brand name of J.C. Higgins. Some specific information will probably get you a specific answer.

Hey Mountain man--I have wondered about this too. I think that he's talking about that Sears M58 which is subject to a recall. What's that deal all about?
    Tnx, OleDuk

Yeah, the bolts in certain 12 gauge models have been recalled by Sears (I do not know for sure if the recall is still in effect, but I would imagine it is). You can find out what models on Sears' web site. They are (were?) paying $160 per bolt, and I admit that I sent in mine as I had obtained the gun in a "three-fer" $120 deal. I felt smug for a while at having in effect obtained two FREE guns plus $40 to boot, but I have lately begun to wonder how much these bolts will be worth in the future.
