As a reply from the question about how much the Remington Model 11-48 is worth. I am sorry I forgot to include the gage. It is a 16 ga. with a regular 28" barrel. I think the wood is maple with engraving. I have quite a few fireamrs that were my granfathers. Some of these firearms are more sentiminal than others. I really don't have a need for this one and was trying to free up some cash so I can get my son a mussleloader. If you can get me in the ball park on the shotgun I would really appreciate it.

    Hello gwhunter8828

In 11-48's here in north-central Florida --- 12 gauge & 16 gauges go for the same money --- no premium for the 16 gauge.

Not having the shotgun in hand to determine its overall condition, I am going to have to make a guess, and hopefully cover your situation somewhere in that range.

I suspect that your 11-48, if it were laying on a table in a gun show here it would go for somewhere between $175-$225.

You might use it as a trade in a gunshop in your area on a front-end stuffer for your son if you do not sell it outright.

    Best Regards
