I found a Beretta 70-S in honest %95 with no box for $250. The Blue Book shows that as top dollar, but I have not really seen too many of these around. How do they compare to the other Beretta 380's? Does it sound like a good deal? Can it be converted to 22 by using the same frame and changing the barrel, slide, and mag? I found a parts gun (22) for less than $100.

I got the gun for $230, I guess the -S means steel frame. The gun is relatively accurate with about a 3 inch group with S&B ammo out to about 12yards, no jams or ftf's. Still looking for info on possibility of converting to 22lr from a parts gun. How about a source on non thumbrest grips?

We sold hundreds of these when I was working for a sporting goods chain in Southern California. The one problem we had was the rear sight leaf would fly off.
