Recently aquired a pistol Mfg. by ROSSI, it is a dbl.action,7-shot, 22-LR revolver. It is nickel, and has no model number anywhere. It came in a small black box lined w/redish velor with only thr "ROSSI" on the outside. Appears to be in excellent shape, 95% or better. It"s overall length is approximately 6 inches with the barrel being 1 & 1/2 inches. The grips are checkered wood w/ ROSSI emblem. Any info appreciated.

    sir, it sounds like you may have a rossi princess revolver, a copy of the early s&w ladysmith .22. The gun control act of 68 stopped their importation. list price for 1968 was 38.25 complete with presentation case{as you describe}
