Colt 45 Gov. Issue, types of finish

Did the ww1 colt 45 come finished in a blueing or matte olive green? Did they refinish them for ww2 stamped AA?

    They were blue. Arsenal refinished was the olive color. Some .45's during early WWII had the DuLite finish but by the end of the war, all were parked.

    ADDENDUM: The AA marking was Augusta Arsenal which did the parking.
