A family member gave me a 22, Remington Model 33. I found some info on the gun, but was wondering what it was worth. The serial number on the gun is 210578. Thanks for any replies.

    perry,
    According to:2003 Gun Traders Guide,

    NiB $200 Ex $140 Gd $95

    Takedown.Caliber:.22 Short,Long,LR.24"bbl.Weight;about
    4.5 lbs.Sights;Open rear,bead frt.Plain,pistol-grip stock,
    forearm w/grasping grooves.Made 1931-36.

Unless it's the model 33 NRA Junior target rifle.

    NiB $300 Ex $250 Gd $100

Same as Standard model except has Lyman peep rear sight,
    Partridge-type frt.sight,0.88" sling and swivels,weighs
    about 5 lbs.

Look just in frt. of the reciever,on the left side of the bbl.

You should find the 2 or 3 digit "date code".

Post it and we'll tell you when it was born.
