I am trying to determine the value of a Safari High-Power 300 Win Mag. serial number 4l25772, made in Belgium, Redfield scope, jeweled bolt, gold trigger shoe, and sling. Fjestads Blue book of guns shows that they made a 300 Win. Mag. but lists every caliber but that. It is in 95% shape and I would like to know anything you can help me with on this gun. Thanks

the serial number should be 4L257XX and it would be a 1964 and to determine the price it's worth you should know what Grade of it as Standard Safari or Medallion or the Olympian The 24th edition of the blue book lists as thisMag. calibers in 95% is worth 750.00 the Medallion at 1035.00 and the Olypian at 2225.00 these actions were Mauser on the mag caliber I hope this helps Lee
