10 gauge shotgun made in spain

Can any one help me with this? I have a 10 gauge side by side shotgun that has a serial # of 1** and says pacific int. import.
Made in spain imported to Sacramento, CA. Barrel is 32 in. Thanks.

    No, not at all. If you cannot post photos, we will need a detailed description, including all marks. You will need to look under the forearm and at the water table. There may or may not be coded makers marks, but frankly Spanish guns built for import are difficult to sort out for lack of published information. You may have better luck looking for Pacific International. I will check some books tonight.

    Pacific International is not listed in the Blue Book, Balderson's Antique and Modern Firearms, nor in Carder's Side by Sides of the World. Sorry, can't help.

    It's possibly a G. Zabala & Co.
    They imported some 10GA SxS shotguns for Richland Arms Co.

    Just a guess though.

    DOES YOUR GUN HAVE 32 INCH BARRELS?/ FULL AND FULL CHOKE?? CROSS BOLT ?? AS BIG TIRE STATES MOST APT TO BE A ZABALA. WOULD NEES TO SEE PICS ON THE WATERTABLE AND THE BOTTOM OF THE BARRELS. PRICE WOULD BE $300-$450.00. GREAT GUNS AND FUN TO SHOOT.

    Sure looks like a Zabala Hermanos gun to me (Zabala Bros.) You might ask on the Spanish Gun and Hunting Manufacturers website, a-armera.com. Choose the English version when you get to their homepage (unless your Spanish is pretty good), then go to the "Associates" button on the side menu, and scroll down the membership list to the very end, where you will find Zabala Hermanos. You can ask them by email if your gun is marked by one of their former US distributors; don't know if they will know anything, since their present line of shotguns doesn't seem to be imported to the U.S. and looks quite different from the original Zabalas. The present firm may be quite different from the one that (probably) made your 10. But it's worth a question--if you get an answer, please post the gist of it!
