Will a Ruger 10/22 mag fit into a Ruger 77/22? If not what is the difference?

The only difference is the contour of the baseblate. The 77/22 is flat, while the 10/22 is slightly curved. The two however are functionally interchangeable.

hangfire has it right , just a little more info , even thru they say .22 long rifle only they will feed .22 long , now this comes in very handy if you want to shoot a real quite round like CCI .22 CB long , works real well for back yard shooting of pesty birds like Starlings , if you use then in the 10-22 , you have to work the bolt they hand as they don't have enough power to cycle the action , of course if you live in town you can't do this but where its allowed it sure works
