someone with more knowledge than me on s&w give a idea of worth of a lettered S&W hand ejector military police fourth change with a 2" barrel,IT was shipped to Arkansas in 1935.I got it from the original owner and its in 90% or better condition, the original blue has a few small discolored spots like freckles. It looks unfired but I know in its 70yr life someone had to try it out at least once.Still has the original diamond checkered round butt grips.I know the 2" model is a little more collectable and this one has all matching #'s on frame ,cylinder and barrel. thanks

You don't say if you have the box or any other paperwork other than what I assume to be a S&W letter from your mention of "lettered".
$400-450 is probably a good range, but if I were to offer it for sale I would start at $500 so you have a "basis for discussion"[:D]
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!
Although Contender gave you a price range, I would have to question your 90% or better and w/discoloration. I could not assign a value to
your arm w/o knowing every detail. 90% strong? Discolorations?
Stock/grip condition. Any screws buggered? Not addressed was the bore
and cylinder condition. Any alterations? A letter does add value and a box w/papers enhances the selling price. It is completely necessary
to have every final detail for anyone to assign a "worth" to your pistol. You may wish to check the GB Auctions for your pistol and see if they have actually "sold". It would be irresponsible upon my part to assign a price without a complete 100% descrption. If you wish to mail me through my profile, I would be happy to talk with you re: prices.
I wish you the best, 101
