I have a Savage bolt action rifle sn-22112. On the action is has Savage Super Sport and if there's any other writing I can't see it because of a side scope mount. It has a steel butt plate with the SVG logo. Can anyone give me any information on this gun and it's value. It was my brothers gun and all I know about it is it shoots excellent. Thank You

Since I know nothing bout you or your brothers ages, and wheather the rifle was bought new or used I don't know if a rifle from that era would apply or not.
You might want to remove the scope mount to see what, if anything, is under it. You also may want to take the stock off and see if there is anything on the underside of the barrel or action.
Lastly you may want to contact Savage:

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!
Model 40 has a plain walnut stock and the 45 has checkering and a peep sight.
Made from about 1928 to 1940.
I've seen them sell from about $200 to $300 in pretty good shape.
In 250-3000, about twice that price range.
They're good shooters, just not very pretty.
