Could some of you identify the 3 pistols other than the luger at bottom left? TIA, Bill. http://www.auctionzip.com/Full-Image/280366/fi99.cgi

    Yes.

Oh, I guess you want me to TELL you what they are. Clockwise from the Luger... Browning High Power 9mm in satin nickel finish; Colt Delta Elite 10mm stainless, Walther P38 9mm.

I could not get through to you on your e-mail.

Show the other guns you are interested in, I am sure that if I cannot identify them, somebody here will.

More items looking for an identity! These are at a local estate (supposedly) auction.... Thanks again to Hawk Carse for identifying the original 3 (they are still in these photos). Bill 2 photo links attached.

Top right is a fixed sight Ruger Standard - 22 lr caliber, under its barrel looks like a 1908 Colt in 25 ACP. Bottom center - between the BHP and the Colt is I think a Ruger centerfire semi auto (sorry, not up on my Ruger model numbers) and the rifle is a Marlin 336.

The small auto appears to be a .25, could be Spanish? Close-up picture is required.

The rifle, is a common Marlin lever-action.

The other 2 pistols are Rugers, A .22 & the other a centerfire. Again close-up photos required.

Thanks to rufe-snow! Unfortunately close-ups are not available. I'll have to work with what you have given me. Thanks again, Bill

I still could not get through direct, so here is what I can tell:

    Across the top:
Probably the same Luger but shown with holster. Gun is a standard military P 08 but there is a lot to know about Lugers. Year stamps or date codes, manufacturers' codes, matching serial numbers, etc.

Probably the same P38. Not quite as esoteric as a Luger, but there are still significant variations by different makers and years. The last few years there have been a lot of post WWII P1s sold here cheap; which has depressed the value of Wermacht issue.

    Ruger Standard .22 auto.

I can't tell what the small auto is; likely one of a hundred different .25s copied from the Browning.

Marlin model 336 lever action, probably .30-30. Recoil pad installed by Bubba, much finish wear as from saddle scabbard.

Probably the same Browning. Not common in satin nickel finish, but not tremendously more valuable than blue.

Ruger P85 or P89 9mm, or one of their later similar models.

    Probably the same Colt 10mm.
