Ok, I'm almost out of my G96 gun treatment and cannot find it anymore. What is the best cleaner/lube on the market now for all guns? Thanks.

-I've always used military gun oil, Hoppe's No. 9, graphite (dry) Gunslik (grease-based graphite), generic (i.e. the cheapest) brake cleaner in a spray can.
HOWEVER, I am going to try several of the KG Coatings (www.kgcoatings.com) products. You can buy them off the website or Brownells sells several of them.
Also, I am going to give Ballistol a try first. You should go to the website and spend some time reading the history of this stuff! It was invented around 1870 or so and was in continued use by the German Army through 1945. There was a period where it was not used, but it was again adopted by the West German (now consolidated with the East) after it was judged best in a series of tests. In WWII the stuff was issued to troops as a weapons cleaner/lube, a leather cleaner/preservative and as a topical first aid juice for cuts and abrasions. Too much to say here, so go take a look: www.ballistol.com/
