I am looking to change my straight bolt 3006 to a bent bolt. My question is if I purchased a bent bolt from a 8mm. will I have any issues using it in my 3006. If there are issues. please let me know. (ie: headspace, ejections etc) thank guys.

Why not simply have a new bolt handle welded on to your existing bolt? You can have your existing handle bent, but they often end up shorter than most people like.
I have about twenty five 98 types now and I have yet be unable to shoot them fine but checking head space is always good advise when changing the bolt.
I do not recommend my method of checking that which is to close the bolt and if feels fine pull the trigger.
So far with over 100 rifles it has always worked.
Most Mausers were made by Germans or on German equipment so interchange as a rule (Yugo M24, M24/47 and M48 are slightly smaller in length by 1/4 inch and do not interchange with other full length)
The only one that did not fit (That I remember) is the Spanish Model 43. The bolt from that would not slide into the K98k action although the K98k bolt fit into the Spanish rifle but I would not fire that without gauging it first.
A normal 30-06 will be slightly too long to load in stripper clips and some arsenals have cut a slight V groove in the receiver to accommodate 30-06 for their military when switching to that caliber.

Save yourself the hassle of switching bolts. Have the old bolt handle removed and a new one of your choice welded back on. Brownells sells accessory bolt handles:

Best.
This guy is really good.
If you need it done this week, forget it, Jim stays busy.
