Where can I go online to read about what is legal to own in the state of texas

Have heard that it is illegal to replace the thumb hole stock on a MAC 90 with the pistol grip type stock. Would like a legal opinion if possible, thanks.

According to the Constitution, the only thing you cannot own in Texas is another human being. Texas, unlike most states, does not belief itself to be above the Constitution (an interesting twist to Federalism) and apparently does not limit or restrict ownership of anything.

While these other posts are some what true they are not quite accurate.

Here is the link for the legislature. You can look up any and every law in the state of Texas. My favorite is the new law that allows every law abiding citizen to carry a loaded firearm in their POV as long as it is hidden. Now that's weird,cool, but weird!
