I am cross posting this due to its nature....
I have a Supply sergeant from a NG unit who wants to purchase a dry lube for their weapons to take with them to Iraq, what is recommended? any suggestions?
This is what they are looking at:

I told the SGT I would post his question here, and he could check it out.
If you think another product /brand is better, please speak up, I would rather loose the sale than sell them something that won't work.
Thanks!
Don

I wouldnt use any "type" of lubrication fluid on any military rifle unless it was proven to be effective in and during combat! I will let you in on a new lubricating fluid that I would consider a revolutionary breakthrough in modern day firearm technology! Now try not to laugh when you read this! Here goes! Its called "Big Dicks Super Lube" and the company is based out of Lakeland, Florida. They have a contract with Macdill Air Force Base located in Tampa, Florida which is central command for our military forces! Its a father/son outfit(both named Richard by the way)! Their address is as follows.. Suncrest Distributors 3142 West Henderson Circle Lakeland, Florida 33803. Phone# 863-686-9709. It is a solvent, scrubber, lubricater, and rust remover for those that either live in the great white north or those who dont regularly practice proper firearm maintenence! I am not affiliated with these people in any way but I own a bottle of it because it works! YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS OUT!

If you were to read the description on the sides of the different brands of firearm lubricating fluid bottles you would read things like "harmful or fatal if swallowed, avoid fume inhalation and if exposed and occur breathing difficulty contact your doctor immediatly, avoid direct contact with the skin, has been to known to cause swelling, rashes or even cancer in some states"! Any firearm lubricant company that lists things like this I take very personal! Their bottle says" Big Dicks Super Lube, cleaner, lubricant, preservative. Weapons, motorcycles, autos, electrical parts, boats, tackle. Non-toxic, non-flammable, will not irritate normal skin. Does not contain silicone or teflon. Eliminates and prevents corrosion. Will not harm metal, wood, plastic, rubber, or painted surfaces. Long lasting". Directions, "Spray or wipe onto surface. wait a few minutes(or several hours)for penetration and cleaning action to occur. Wipe off excess with a clean cloth. Can be used in the bore and all mechanisms". In other words this is a revolutionary breakthrough! A small bottle is 4oz(113g) costs in the neighbourhood of %15.00 or so and it will last about 50 gun cleanings! A little goes a long way with me and mine lasted almost 100 cleanings which included total dismantle of each weapon! IMHO any person who owns a firearm should purchase a bottle!
