A question for u law abiding citizens(im not saying im not) is there any law saying that u cant posses a gun that is not able to be sold in california for instance the walther p22. whats to stop someone from going to colorado or montana and buying the gun and brining it back. or is this a big no-no. please help! thanks

THE LAWS HAVE CHANGED FOR SURE SINCE THE MID 60'S & 70'S, BUT I REMEMBER THAT I COULD BY A PISTOL WITH MY MILITARY ID, & MY TEXAS ID, WHILE STAIONED IN CALIF.
ALSO BACK THEN WE COULD STORE OUR PERSONAL WEAPONS IN THE ARMOURY.
CAN YOU STILL DO THAT, AND WOULD THAT EXEMPT YOU FROM CALIF. WIERDNESS
LAWS, BY BEING ON A MILITARY BASE?
