a friend of mine has 2 rifles he would like to know what they are worth one is a 270 Remington BDL and two is a 12 gauge over and under spanish shotgun and its called a LANDER....

    "Top"-I can see that you're not getting any action here, so thought I'd try to help as much as I can with the limited amount of info you posted. Gun values are very dependent on condition--which you neglected to specify. The currently favored method of determining condition is by percentage of original finish remaining. There is a publication "Blue Book Of Gun Values" by S.P. Fjestad that comes out every year and which contains the current market values of many guns, usually rated in increments from 60%-100% condition. You might pick up a copy; in any event that's probably how the forum members will establish your values. Other factors can also effect the value in some cases such as serial number, year of manufacture, etc. So, if you could inspect the guns closely and get back to us we should be better able to help, especially in the case of the BDL which is a common gun. As for the Lander, in addition to the condition, please be sure to post all of the writing found on the gun. Hope this helps.
