What would a colt 1911 servie pistol thats in pristine condition be worth. IM refering to the service pistol not the civilian model. It is a wonderful mate blued finish with 3 preban clips one stainless and the other blued.

The military never bought any Colt .45's in matte blue finish. I have no idea what kind of gun you are looking at.

I don't know if you are buying or selling the guns you have been asking about, but I suggest that you buy a copy of Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values; that will at least give you the basic information such as model names and descriptions.

And, "preban clips" is usually irrelevant when talking about the M1911; the ban affects mags with > 10 round capacity, which are rarely used in this gun.
